Spacious, Speedy, & Sporty

The Sting S4 takes the “sport” of light sport aviation seriously as it is quick, responsive, and balanced with a reputation for being fun to fly. This sophisticated and agile aircraft is the ultimate carbon composite in its class. From the outset, the Sting S4 impresses with its superior cabin visibility, minimal noise levels, and exceptional aircraft features, ensuring an optimal flying experience.

Refined through four generations, the Sting S4 epitomizes engineering excellence and ergonomic comfort. Featuring a spacious bubble canopy with clear visibility, ergonomic controls, and an advanced glass cockpit, it entices you into its luxurious cabin with leather heated seats for comfortable flights.

This side-by-side two-seat light sport aircraft offers a spacious cabin with a width of 45 inches, comfortably accommodating individuals up to 6’3” tall. Attention to detail enhances the experience for both pilots and passengers. Notably, the cockpit in front of the passenger is tilted to improve the pilot’s view. The aircraft provides ample luggage space, measuring 5 feet. Additionally, the canopy is designed for easy operation, ensuring convenient access to the cabin.

Like all TL models, the Sting S4 is an all-composite technology lending to a strong and light airframe. The nose gear has strength and durability to easily handle even the toughest landings. There are dual controls, adjustable foot pedals, a steerable front wheel, and electric flaps. Taxiing is delightfully simple, with a fine view over the nose. The nosewheel steers through the rudder pedals, and if a very tight turn is required, differential braking can be applied via the toe-operated hydraulic disc brakes. The sophisticated aerodynamic refinements of the aircraft make agile maneuverability effortless.

Powered by the Rotax 912ULS/iS, Rotax 914 Turbo/iS or Rotax 914iS, the Sting S4 has a cruise of 120 KTAS and a range of 750 miles. A full suite of Garmin avionics for either VFR or IFR glass cockpits compliment the sleek lines of this beautiful aircraft. And as is standard with all TL aircraft, the Sting S4 is equipped with a Stratos Magnum Ballistic Parachute Recovery System ensuring the safety of the pilot, crew and aircraft.

Additional options include but are not limited to Oxygen, and design of custom paint scheme. Every Sting S4 is custom ordered, built, and delivered with the same passion and commitment to quality as the first TL aircraft over 35 years ago.
